Ohoes! The plot, it twists.
Still kinda fucked up by the Robin Williams thing. Dude was a major inspiration on my art. MAJOR.
Here’s some fun.
Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives should be a mail-order service, not a governmental entity.
Mailorder? Heck I want a drive-through!
I like where your head’s at, kid.
ATFE drive-thrus exist, 24/7 in Montana. Or at least they used to. Booze, gambling, ammo, fireworks, smokes, and no daytime speed limits back in the mid 90’s anyways.
He didn’t mention any alcoholic beverages, so I doubt she was doing a checklist.
The day is young.
Burning man…. It was implied
Given her demeanor she may have consumed the alcohol shortly before his arrival.
Red herring! I still say its the Russian.
Hold the fuck up. The pound of weed, okay, I can see that as contraband. But unless I missed something major, Sparkles is neither a convicted felon nor a former mental patient, so there’s no reason she couldn’t be in possession of a firearm. And since when is more than one carton of cigarettes illegal?
The mouseover text explains: when they bear no tax stamps.
On the pistol, what if she stole it from Guns at Cheaper Than Yer Mom’s Heart?
Doesn’t the pistol become illegal immediately once drugs get found in her possession?
I thought i sort of worked that way but i wasn’t bored enough to find out.
On the checklist: I can’t find it now, but somewhere there’s a meme that shows a three-drawer chest (bureau, get it) with booze in the top drawer, cigs in the middle, and guns in the bottom (all drawers overflowing) and the caption says something like “Redneck Wedding Present.”
(Might have been chew, not cigs, in the middle.)
Make it moonshine, cigs without tax stamps, and illegal guns, and I think you have one of my old neighbors in South Carolina.
Though I will say his shine was a damn sight better than the couple kinds of shine you can get at BevMo. (That may be bad memories / alcohol poisoning talking, though.)
MadMike, aka Michael Z Williamson, has already composed his latest Incorrect Cocktail(tm):
The Robin Williams: A triple espresso of Vietnamese coffee with three shots of amaretto and two shots of vodka. Top with whipped cream, a dusting of powdered sugar, a cherry and a slice of cucumber.
and a dusting of coke.
Coca-Cola you dirty minded people.
Vietnam’s slow-filtered Treung coffee is actually really nice. It’s kind of chocolatey.
Love the video, but as an airsoft enthusiast, they fail to show the positive side of airsoft, IE; being able to shoot ones friends (legally) and still have them be your friends, being able to shoot in your house/garage/basement/back yard without annoying your neighbor/wife/family (although, to be honest, when I use propane in my pistols in the house/garage instead of Green Gas, my wife get’s pretty pissed at the smell) or risking severe damage to your own or neighboring property.
Plus it’s an inexpensive training aid for presentation, transitions, reloading skills, as well as target acquisition. My splits have dropped an average of 35% in the year I’ve been doing regular airsoft practice.
In addition, the cost of buying and running an airsoft replica is considerably lower than RS in most cases. My airsoft Gas Blowback replica G17 with 3 magazines, 2,500 BBs, and can of Green Gas was under $150. My Glock G17, by comparison, was $400, and that doesn’t include ammo.
About the only examples that don’t follow this trend are the airsoft Mosin-Nagant (roughly $300) and the KTW Flintlock ($250).
Hey, the ATF knows all about burners. Didn’t you hear about the one they had outside Waco a while back?
Sorry, the outcome falls squarely on the Federal Bureau of Incineration.
OK, here I go showing my lack of knowledge, again, what is “…mouse over text..” ? I see comments just every now and then that do not make sense…..like I missed a text or three in between….. Watz up ??
Move your cursor someplace on the comic image, then wait a second – you should get a text box with additional text relating to the comic. Not all webcomics have them, but many do, and they’re usually pretty funny – or possibly informative, ymmv
People who discover them late in life usually end up going thru MASSIVE archive binges on all their favorite webcomics….
Its the text you can’t bloody see from a mobile device. Unless you’re reading XKCD, that is.
It’s also known as alt-text (as in, a text description of the image for those who can’t see it for whatever reason). Some modern browsers no longer support it without add-ons.
It also shows up before the image loads if your ‘net connection is a bit loaded.
“….text….” ? That shudda been “post or three” …..shessh !!
heh, called burning man, just figured she quit first. I’m batting pretty well on this.
OK, people…..thanks a bunch…………….
Well, whether she had anything to do with the fire or not, she’s totally screwed. They’ll charge and convict her of several federal felonies, she’ll serve a lot of prison time, and come out pretty much unemployable. Have a nice life, whatsyername!
