100th?!? Didn’t you just start this comic, like … a week ago? 0_o
So far it’s been good. I didn’t think I’d really be into a “gun comic” when you started. But it’s not like it’s all guns all the time with gun jokes and gun characters shooting guns that fire smaller guns at other guns every day at gun o’clock from Gunuary to Guncember each year. i like that there’s PLOT. 😛
So yeah, I wouldn’t change anything. [shrugs]
Seriously, this can’t be the 100th strip.
So far, I’ve been enjoying the characters, the story arcs, the background art, the feel of the comic, and the occasional video. I’ve linked FtF on FB quite a few times and recommended it to half a dozen friends.

That last line was beyond amazing and I think any guy who’s not single can say they’ve had that feeling at least once.
Wow, 100 already? I guess that’s the benefit to already having a ton of experience making webcomics. Few people do it quite as well as J. Grant. I discovered Flem in the midst of the Jay storyline days and have been a huge fan ever since.
Actually, all of the stuff that I like about this comic is stuff you’ve been doing from the start — characterization and plot with occasional forays into the “interesting gun facts and culture” world. I have to say, just keep up what you guys are doing. 🙂

Personal opinion? Less galls more guns. Me and all my buddys have agreed on that. I like the stupid customer jokes because I am in the industry and feel micks pain lol

Keep on keeping on. Good mix of firearms, plot, instructional, and the occasional venting. I admit an ulterior motive, if this becomes off the rails popular, maybe it’ll improve the public perception of firearm owners. Or it’ll just be fun, whatever.
I’m personally hoping for Jay to come in and buy a gun. Just so people can see what your I-guy really looks like.

I’m enjoying the advancement of the story, but one thing I’d really been looking forward to with this comic was a goodly amount of GUNS 101 for the neophytes in the audience. Simple stuff like explaining calibers, in-depth stuff like the histories of various firearms in the military. Maybe a lot of that has already been covered in the works of one mister Garth Ennis, but the daily funny is more accessible.
Oh, and more tits.
Nahhh, Jay isn’t the girlfriend beating type. He may be prone to violence but he treats the ladies right.
I have to say, I don’t think I’d change anything. Well, aside from more boob-shots, but I’m a guy, and think with the wrong head, too. 😉
But seriously, the comic is great as it is. It’s a good mixture of guns, retail life, personal life… and you even mentioned Pootie Tang! Plus, the boobs. Yeah, this is a great comic just as it is!

I think the guy walking into Penneys was more than a bit strange, even though it was legal. Among other things, the laws requires the weapons to be unloaded. So if some nefarious character happened a long, he’d see a man carrying some very valuable…clubs. And not very efficient clubs. Perhaps he has a loaded weapon concealed, but it still seems risky to me.

Their basic theme is desensitization–that by doing so, they are educating the public such that maybe, just maybe, there will be one less hoplophobe at the end of the day because OMG, they laid eyes on a GUUUN and….nothing happened. There are a number of OC activists in my neck of the woods and most people don’t get all hysterical and call 911 over MWAG. (They do, however, go home and get on the internet and post pissy little rants on Craigslist. That was funny.)
Those people unfortunate enough to be afflicted with a penis are not the only ones who have this sort of problem, you know. 😉
So, I spend 7 days in Las Vegas at SHOT show. I don’t take my laptop because I don’t want to be distracted and I want to disconnect for a week from “Social media”
As always, I catch some damn mutant Chinese flu and spend 12 hours of unmitigated hell flying home yesterday.
Draging my older than dust ass out of bed and in front of my pc, do I check my gunbroker auctions on my well overpriced ar’s?, no, do I see if the doctor emailed me if the mass they found 10 days ago is cancer?, No, the 1st thing I do is catch up on FtF.

I like it! I’m enjoying it.
I could care less for most of the videos and don’t miss them really. Except for the few which were genuinely educational, I find their inclusion distracting.
My general vote is:
nix on the pro-gun preaching. We get it; really we do. And there was that strip a while back that was all about the detail of some firing pin’s location or some such. Yawn..
BUT..
ASIDE from that–
MUCHOS KUDOS! I love the sarcasm, the plot, the insights, the humor.
