I still have a cold. This kind of shit is easy to do when I’m all obliterated by NyQuil.
BUT I AM FEELING BETTER. So the comic should resume soon on the plot. I may end the week out with bad gun jokes, because at this point, fuck it. Trying to salvage this week will be like trying to make a birthday cake out of a dog turd.
Gugh. My fuckin’ sinuses. UGH.
Gonna reiterate what I’ve said before about this pun threads
Achewood this ain’t.
>:(
:-*
As God is my witness, I can’t do a thing with this one.
So you’re saying your wits are… scattergunned..?
I know, that was kind of lame. I’m just shotgunning these…
Hope I don’t choke.
Riding both barrels. Side by side, or over/under?
You are all going to Hell.
So, it’s a shotgun wedding with the devil..?
Ha. A shotgun riding.
And vice Bersa.
That’s a little High Standard. Ithaca you really want to really make ’em groan, you Beretta try harder.
No one likes a Heckler ( & Koch ).
I like H&Ks. I just don’t have the coins in me breeches ta pay fer one o’ them!
*groan*
For nasty colds:
Hot tea + lemon + honey + brandy + sleep.
Works damned well. Oh, you could use bourbon or some other spirit, but brandy is traditional.
Also: That’s a Danzig I’ve never heard before. Nice.
Take out the booze, as it does more harm than good.
the booze just makes you care less that you’re miserable.
Small quantities of booze do not do harm; that is an utterly outdated view.
I for one have no complaints about these pun related strips. I love them, as I love all comics that are ever created by the twisted mind of Mr. Grant. I think I read through the flem “Jay Archives” at least once a year.
No complaints about the gun puns. Most of them are right on target.
Generic equateful zinc cold therapy lozenges have greatly reduced our suffering from colds. But I think it’s a bit late to help you in your current illness.
Not as funny as the previous two, but still funny. I’m looking forward to storyline, but these will do in the meantime. Feel better soon!
Man, that was a long way to go — for nuthin’ ;^)’
Get well.
Soon.
That taurus would probably obliterate that bersa. Bersa should be worried.
Next up…. A Winchester 1892 that has had some tough times getting back up in the sadle… holster.
Totally understand the temporary lack of energy, J! I’ve been fighting a super-crappy strain of bronchitis for the last week, myself. (103° fever, can’t breathe, eat or sleep – dropped 10 pounds in 3 days, but I think it’s mostly snot.)
Yes, illness will reduce you to a mere shell of yourself, leave you feeling completely shot, and make life a total dud. Buck up, though, man…a fellow of your caliber will soon be back on point!
