On that topic: Goths and guns.
As my long-time readers who have followed me here from my previous work know, I am an angry, industrial-goth-punk. Much of the scenes I hang out in, even in Texas, aren’t filled with a lot of shooters. But yes, some of us really love our firearms. I say all of this because there’s a scene in the Matrix that I think really solidified action gun scenes and the Goth/Industrial scene.
[ADD] These programs need more publicity and support.
I love the shooting scenes in the Matrix movies. Next to the Bank robbery scene in Heat, the high-rise and the garage scenes in Matrix are some of the best gun fight scenes I’ve scene.

I was about to pipe up and say “Wouldn’t a cocaine addiction render her ineligible to own a firearm?” but then I looked up the ATF’s 4473 online and it’s phrased only as “are you currently unlawfully using” and not “are you an addict (recovering or otherwise).”
I love in action movies when ECA (Evil Corporate America) buildings have armies of SWAT trained and equipped security guards. (I know The Matrix is different because they’re constructs of the machine or something.) But as a professional security provider, I keep wating for Bruce Willis to drive through the front doors in an armored truck, jump with a sub-machine gun in each hand, and then just laugh at the two chubby guys behind the desk reading old Guns & Ammo mags and playing Angry Birds…
