You really… REALLY… have no idea how long I’ve been waiting to chunk this monkey wrench into the plot. Seriously. It’s been in my head for months and months, and boom, here it is.
Don’t worry, this plot gets way, way more fucked up before it gets better. Count on it.

I have personal experience with this. Still not sure if it bothers me yet. But mine was video and sold to a pay-site.

My instinct was to say “her roommate did it, and that’s why she stole Heidi’s stuff and moved out!” Then I realized, duh, if this was at Mick’s place, and it wasn’t him, it had to have been Heidi. Shame, I liked her, too. Guess we’ll have to see how this turns out….

As to the story about the Liberator blowing up, I’d like to know how many times they fired it until they got the result they wanted.
I’m gonna wager 3-4 shots.
If I were to lay out $1700+ for a gun (I’m counting the cost of the newfangled printer), I’d want one not made of plastic.
I wonder if they loaded it with something that deliberately blew it up. the liberator pistols are .380 right? that isn’t much pressure, but you can probably load a 9mm +P+ in there. or if you’re really looking for a BOOM use a 9mm Largo and just stuff all that extra case volume with all the fast powder you can.
then the government official can say “look? see? UNSAFE! we need to ban this for your own good!” which is the mantra of most statists.
Why is it so hard for people to believe that a gun made of melted plastic might blow up in your hand? The initial steel Liberator pistols did sometimes – and they were made of steel.

oh I believe it blew up..but I also believe various governments have an interest in making them seem MORE dangerous than they actually are.
Not hard for me to believe, at all. ABS is second choice for this. Another group (pro-gun) did this with a different plastic ( I don’t remember which at this point) and the barrel survived 8 rounds.
People are making way too much of this. It’s barely even a proof of concept, yet.

But, for now, I think it’s Alex’s father… who thinks Mick might (somehow) be a good thing for his daughter. Alex had him copy Mick’s key – and he made one for himself. Mayhaps he causes Alex to see Mick at the gunshop soon???

I don’t think it quite works out, as the *other* pics are just of Heidi, something Alex’s father wouldn’t have access to (in theory). Altho, Heidi would have been able to see that Mick *was* a good boy while she was gone (a drunk boy, but a good boy). Alex and him didn’t fool around, altho she did fuck with his head once he sobered up from his blackout!
