More Hi-Point fun. Anyone who’s actually taken one down to the base parts knows what’s going to happen.
Again, I have nothing against Hi-Points, and own one that I like. I have been thinking about picking up their .40 or .45 caliber models, if for no other reason than to own a direct blowback pistol of that size, which is nuts.
I wasn’t aware this was on Youtube. I believe this was the video in Jackie Brown. Unf. Dat trigger discipline… Except for the AK chick, who has bad trigger AND chick lean. And the Mossberg girl. Argh.

Everything you said about the C9 applies, pro and con. (Big, ugly, heavy, etc) I found that a slip-on Hogue grip turned it from a hand pounding nightmare to a real pleasure to plink with, though. Also, I have never, EVER, had any kind of problem with it, feeding it any kind of ammo. One pull of the trigger, one round down range. Every time, without fail.
I recommend them, despite the way many people dismiss them as “cheap, ugly pieces of crap”.
