Was this comic ever linked anywhere? I follow Two Lumps but I don’t recall ever seeing a link there, I only learned of it’s existence little more than week ago (went to vacation right after) when certain wiseass posted the Mosin strip on a forum I frequent.

To be fair: that’s a UT Kilt, not Utilikilt. Specifically a Black Deluxe. Had it for about 8 months now, it’s damned comfortable and looks good. I also own one of the 5.11 Tactical kilts, which is my go-to for outdoors wear – hiking, fishing, etc. Although I wouldn’t MIND having a Utilikilt, their price is just entirely too high for this kind of garment.
I have a Utilikilt and I bought it from Thinkgeek. They sell it for FAR less the price.
If you’re interested in seeing one up close (no, not like *that*) I live in the DFW area.
Oh, I’ve seen them. Quite a few of our friends have a Utilikilt or three. From what I see, there really isn’t much diff between the Utilikilt brand quality and the UT Kilt quality.
I did not know there was more than one useful kilt maker out there. Whatever it is, it makes the outfit. 😀

Gordon’s kilt is similar, and may in fact be an actual Utilikilt–I forget–in any case, I notice yours has nice hard pleats in it still, which gives the thing a nice drape–whereas the ones in Gordon’s have gotten kind of floppy.

Nope. Just regular old washer and dryer. The fabric of the UT Kilt is fairly thick and hearty.

Roommates can be evil. Back in college one of my fellow students came back from break to discover that his roommate had taken the entire single-wide mobile home that they were living in!
I don’t know how the story ended – weather or not the trailer or any of the stuff in it was ever recovered. He was just a guy in one of my classes, not actually a friend. But I have wondered occasionally over the years.
Roommates can steal some weird stuff. Strangest thing I’ve had stolen was the battery from my cordless phone. (Not the whole phone–just the battery.) I’d imagine there’s more to this situation than meets the eye, but this doesn’t automatically imply that they shared a bed, and I’d guess from the wording that they didn’t. Besides, if you were at odds with your roommate, would under the mattress of your shared bed be your choice of where you keep a gun?

I priced a family clan kilt once and the price drove me crazy but it is only a fifth of a Savile Row Tailors Suit, back in the day.

The original two cats, Caramon and Raistlin, Russian blues, were vaguely like their comic counterparts. Sadly, both passed away within the last 3 years.
As replacements, Mel found two more Russian Blue kitten brothers at a shelter, and snatched ’em. Holy fucking hell, they are WAY more like Eben and Snooch than the original two.
Sniffercat, AKA Tannin, is crafty, sneaky, and a little bit evil.
Derpcat, AKA Pallin, is the most retarded derp of a cat I’ve ever known. He really does act drunk 90% of the time. Total doofus. Snooch in the flesh. That’s who’s in the picture.

Very cool, the shirt goes well with the kilt. I was gonna guess it a UK also, I got mine a while back before the price increase (paid 150ish), but made (what I think is) a rookie mistake, getting it in black, thinking “It’ll go with everything”… not quite. Great for RenFaires, not so much everywhere else, especially in a Texas summer!
