Perfectly reasonable rules that *any* tenant can expect of a co-inhabitant. Part of the Tenancy Act in BC is the right to “peaceful enjoyment” of one’s habitation. It is enforceable here.
About a month ago my browser wouldn’t let me go back to the start of this cartoon (double-arrow buttons didn’t work) and I was (apparently) missing a Microsoft update (patch) that I downloaded overnight. The next day everything worked for me here. Try updating your browser.
Honestly, had I been Mick, it would’ve been the “no shooting in the garage” rule that actually did draw my curiosity.
One doesn’t have to think very hard at all to recognize why one party would prefer that to be enforced on the other…whereas (assuming one’s garage is already properly equipped as a shooting range with a safe backstop and such) “no shooting in the garage even with a suppressor” is less obvious.
I think at least part of the reason the NFL wouldn’t air Colion Noir’s commercial is because he advocates being a grown-up MAN, who leads his family and puts his life on the line for them, instead of being a perpetually adolescent do0dbro with no real goals beyond hedonism. It’s the do0dbroz who are lead around by their id to burn time on consoles, buy softcore, drink beer, and play PUA. In short, they’re the ones who respond to mass market TV’s desire to make money by selling beer and shampoo.
Heh, was just wondering recently if you had seen anything from Colion. 🙂
Wait—it’s her house, he “just rents a room”, but he still makes the rules?!

Of course! Sheldon Cooper would NEVER rent someone a room without a signed, notarized, triplicate multi-volume Roommate Agreement…. 😉
Was thinking the same thing.
Of course there’s guns in the house. We all know this won’t end well. 😉
It’s like nobody even LOOKED at the mouseover text.
I did. Well done.
Girl, I love looking at your mouseover text.
RTFM? Never heard of it. 😀
Can’t ever see this famous and mysterious mouseover text. Dang. Browser? System? Oh well.
Tom,

Jim
It’s like that was the only rule mentioned. 😛
Ummm… if you look for the mouse-over pop-up, it might well be HER rule for HIM….
There are THREE rules. Read the last panel. “Wakes HIM up.” The prosecution rests. 😀
And this is reason 1001 why I don’t really watch any of the Big 4 professional sports anymore. Plus, I have… waddaya call it… oh yeah, A Life(tm).
Honestly, had I been Mick, it would’ve been the “no shooting in the garage” rule that actually did draw my curiosity.

I just watched the video.

I don’t watch sports that only require one ball to play, so I would have missed that ad anyway.
So your a fan of croquette then?
😉
Bwah hah hah, well played
The NFL didn’t ban anything, they rejected the commercial. Calling it a banned seems like useless hyperbole.
