Hearing him talk about shotgun home defense is like listening to a person who was born blind try to describe a sunset’s majestic hues. Yes, he really said that, and yes, someone did it. Fucking dipshits on all accounts.

Got to love how a VP AND a “licensed atourney in Delaware” gets to make suggestions to commit criminal acts and not get slapped over it, but if i was in the US and did the same… I´m pretty sure i would get dragged to court.
Heck, our Attorney General openly forced stores to sell guns to international criminals and terrorists, at the President’s say-so, with memos directly linking it to a planned attack on the Constitution. Most countries, that’s called “high treason”. Here, we just call it “politics”.

Okay that’s cute. I do agree that Biden is clearly disconnected from reality here on gun “control” issues as a rich white fuck from the East Coast elite. But his wife and children actually do have more reasonable knowledge about it.

Listening to Joe Biden talk about gun control is like listening to most conservative candidates talk about safe sex and birth control; there should be a test you have to pass proving you have a basic knowledge of what you’re discussing before being allowed to talk on television.

At our local gun show I once saw an 8-gauge for sale. The guy had like six shells for it (paper, of course). Pricey sumbitch, but damn, looking at the bore on the thing had all the visceral impact of a four-pounder cannon.
If Obama wanted some old senile dude to be VP and say all the right gun control lines, he should’ve tapped John McCain for the job.

The funny thing is, I actually know Joe. Not well, but he knows who I am, and will stop to talk to me – on a personal level. I’ve done campaign work for his son,* who is NOT an idiot, and who actually does know firearms – or at least knows how to handle them sensibly. Too bad the son isn’t an ally of ours.
Joe is a pretty decent guy, most of the time. He knows Constitutional Law pretty well, and that’s where I start to wonder… Did he suffer some brain damage at some point? Because he has this rigid inablity to connect Constitutional Law with the practical right to be armed.
Keeping Joe in a cage is probably the smartest thing the Anti-Constitutionalists can do right now. Sad to say that about a guy I like, most ways.
*GOP candidate in that race was offensively bad – a real brain-dead, insulting, boneheaded loser. To the point of making me want to punish the party for allowing his name on the ballot. So I did.
GOP in Delaware is comically bad. We CAN put people in office – sometimes. But only because those people do all the work themselves, and keep the state partly largely at arms-length.
