Teacupping
Oct04
Every time I take a new shooter out, I have to correct them on at least one bad habit they’ve picked up from movies and TV. This one is the most common, followed by keeping their finger on the trigger.
I really do like how panels 2 and 3 came out.
Oh god, I love this song.
Thumb-wrapping. When I’m teaching grip, I emphasize marrying the thumbs. Sooner or later, the off thumb migrates around back. I tell people at the start, that I will yell “THUMB!” once or twice. After that, I’ll let the gun teach the lesson. I also let them know that I have Neosporin and band-aids in the fanny pack.
Can’t understand a single word of that yelling – could we get a transcript?
That “Star Trek” symbol is incorrect.
The thumb should be separated, slightly, from the first two fingers.
Hey, you siad it yourself: thumbs are important!
Btw, wouldn’t you say it’s a sad state of affairs, when you can marry two thumbs of the same person but not two people of the same gender?
Okay, so maybe you wouldn’t say that.
But I would.
Nnnnyark nyark nyark!
😛
Thumbs can’t marry each other, or soon we’ll have fingers marrying toes, and knees and elbows hooking up, and al kinds of ungodly craziness!
Oh wait, you did say it. Sort of.
Down at the bottom there. Guess I need to pay attention to those. I remember they got to be pretty hilarious in Manuel.

What’s that green thing on the tip of her nose in the last panel?
It’s the “Home” switch on the target send/retrieve panel, behind her head.
New shooter? Dry fire before live fire.
New firearm? Dry fire before live fire.
Its not a rule yet, but it should be.
