The invitation

It was about time to introduce some actual violence into this strip. My long-time readers from the FLEM days know how much I’ve been holding back. If these WERE olden times, Omar would have Mick devoured by a bag of carnivorous shrews. Or raped by a demon. Or something.
I wish I’d found this video BEFORE I took some of my friends shooting. Pay attention, this is EXCELLENT information.
I wish I had seen this before going to the range with a friend and his wife. She wound up picking up a .380 and is working on her CHL but for quite a while was needing me or her hubby to action the slide until it was broken in enough for her to handle (the demo at the store was well broken in, they bought a new one). The gun overall is the perfect size for her, but I think she’d have benefited from being able to handle it 100% on her own from the start.
Proof that you can still learn shit even years down the road. 😉
STOLEN!
Snap out of it Mick! Not your type!? Can’t you see she likes steak! 🙂
I was actually taught like this, and have been doing it for years. One reason I like my sig p239 is that the front of the slide is ribbed to help with grip, not just the rear, to help with racking this way. I grab the slide ahead of the side port, as opposed to behind it (towards the rear)
Thank you! My youngest daughter has recently (finally!) requested that Daddy teach her to shoot. She’s a little bitty thing and could not rack any of my semi-automatics, so was laying claim to my little .22 revolver. I was hoping she could use a Makarov or PA-63 instead, a single-stack 9mm she can get her hand around. That revolver was my father’s, but it shoots high and to the left; my Soviet handguns are more accurate and throw a bigger chunk of lead. Now she can use proper firearm!
HAHAHAHA! Good one.

Brilliant!
Goddamit I can’t get used to the Website space not being for the the subject line.
Well my subject line was MEANT to be:
“As for the video: “
When a hot redhead isn’t your type you need to be buried immediately, you’ve been dead for year.
