There are a lot of first that you remember that you wish you couldn’t. Some of which go further into the darkness than the ones Alex admits to in the strip. Some of us come out the other end mostly intact others don’t. 🙁
I get the feeling that “first blackout drunk” is what led into “first sex”. UGH.
I’m not sure. At least the idea I get from the “first sex” image is that she was at least awake for it. I’m going to assume (since I’ve never been one to have sex with a blackout drunk person) that it would be too much effort to prop them up like that.
Blackout drunk does not always equal passed out, it just means that you can’t remember what you did. And, you’re right, it doesn’t mean that one necessarily followed the other, but this Jack guy seems like a huge asshole so I wouldn’t put something like that past him.
Bingo. 18th birthday, big dance @ college. Last thing I remember was “We have to empty these kegs. The beer is now free.”
Lot of “firsts” that I would rather not remember, quite a many “seconds” and “thirds”. Alex is not alone in regrets. I feel sorry for Mick too, as he seems clueless of Alex’s pain.
I think where Mick is might count as “blissful ignorance”. I’m not sure whether to feel sorry for him or envy him.
